Kilians

Bored of waiting for The Strokes to get over and done with their side-projects and finally release a new album? No worries, because Kilians are here... Starting out as a a loose group of music mad students from Dinslaken, Germany, they recorded their first self-titled EP in 2005. In the following year their song "Jealous Lover" reached number 3 of the German CampusCharts and in April 2007 "Fight The Start" was released on Vertigo as their first "real" single, followed by their debut "Kill The Kilians" that reached number 75 of the official German music charts.

So the question is: can Kilians become Europe's answer to The Strokes? We'll find out this year, when they plan to release their sophomore effort. Make sure to check them out on my Myspace and buy their album, will you?
