A month ago I made a post about a band I've recently discovered. They're called CatPeople and hail from Barcelona, Spain. CatPeople released their debut Reel #1 two years ago and now they're back with their sophomore effort entitled What's The Time Mr Wolf?Managing to avoid the difficult second album syndrome, CatPeople have made an album that is even better than its predecessor. Forget album fillers, all the tracks really rock this time. Angular guitars, dark ambient synths, violins (!), everything that made Reel #1 a great debut is still there.
If you're into Interpol, Editors or She Wants Revenge and can't wait till their next release, do yourself a favour and buy this album. Definitely in my top-10 list for 2008! You can listen the new tracks from CatPeople's Myspace and judge for yourself.
