Dead rock Machine is made up of Thierry and Romain, two 26 years old musicians/ producers from rock and roll world who fell under the spell of the mix between guitars and machines.
This duet, located in both Paris and Rouen, is the symbol of the new generation of bands, for which composition sessions are made through exchanges of emails, but profit from any occasion to play "traditional-style" and shake neighbourhood walls.
They get an unidentified sound object between the new electro scene (Justice, Boys Noize etc), nu-disco (Calvis Harris, Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, Metronomy etc) and indie rock (The Strokes, Art Brut, Klaxons, Soulwax, Weezer etc).
The videos taken live from "Le Showcase" or "La Flèche d'Or" for example show how efficient are Dead Rock Machine songs when played live, halfway between rock concert and live electro.
Dead Rock Machine brings the fun with its ultra dynamic electro rock mix its big smile on paperbags, and no wonder it will make one feel like dancing wild in the middle of the living room!
